We are committed to being as environmentally responsible as we can. We installed the latest Solar Panel System which now provides us with up to 70% of our power needs. This system is the first of its kind in the Americas and we are very proud to have it.

• Our cottages have screened, louvered windows. A breezy ceiling fan eliminates the need for air conditioning
• Each duplex has a rainwater cistern and solar water heater
• Irrigation system to water the flowers
• Guests are encouraged to support our laundry reduction scheme and re-use their towels
• Eco-Pure pillows & mattress covers are made from recycled plastic bottles
• We use eco-friendly laundry detergent & cleaning products
• Low voltage LED and CFL lighting reduces our energy consumption
• Our in-room shower products are bio-degradable, sulphate and paraben-free
• We compost tree trimmings, paper and other organic waste
• We grow herbs, fruit and vegetables on-island to reduce imports
• The fryer oil used in the kitchen is turned into bio-diesel
• The bar uses bio-degradable cups & straws made from corn, not plastic
• Our room, restaurant and deck furniture is all recycled teak wood
• The colourful bar stools & lounge furniture is from reclaimed fishing boats
